Money is always a good way to help, but there are others. We have just purchased a piece of land in Kisumu to build our clinic on; a solicitor overseeing the transaction would have been extremely useful. Someone from the medical profession to act as advisor will also be handy.

Operating Model – brief notes on how money raised is managed & spent
The charity holds regular meetings throughout the year to keep members and supporters up to date with developments and requirements from those we support in Kenya.
All expenditure is agreed by the Trustees before any money is spent.
All money raised by the charity is spent on projects, none is used for charity expenses or travel.
Charity volunteers form a working party to go to Kenya for 2 weeks each January (at their own expense) to assess requirements first hand and provide an on site physical presence to perform project tasks.

Did you know, you can raise money for our charity Focus on Africa and it won't cost you a penny!
